4th Annual Conference of the Network of Eastern External Border Regions (NEEBOR) 9th - 11th September 2009, Joensuu, Finland

Joint Annual Conference of the NEEBOR Network and the NEEBOR project was held in North Karelia, Finland on 9th - 11th September 2009. Theme of this year Conference was “Cooperation on the European Eastern External Border - Towards Safer and Economically More Balanced Border Region” and there were several high level speakers from European Union as well as national and regional level. Some one hundred participants from all around eastern external border regions took part to the event in Joensuu, capital of North Karelia.
